Today’s guest is Adam Shapiro with SalesReformSchool
Since 2004, Adam Shapiro, through his SalesReformSchool™, has been helping individuals, teams and enterprises improve their sales performance.
Using a sales process, messaging and disciplines framework, Shapiro customizes his deliverables to what and how his clients sell resulting in true behavior change.
Several years ago, a friend suggested the name. It seemed kind of edgy and people smile when they hear it, so it’s keeper. The metaphor works for a number of reasons: To improve, it helps to embrace learning, change, and practice; and the best practitioners are students of their craft - they don’t believe they know it all and are willing to try new processes and disciplines. So, SalesReformSchool™ makes sense.
Though Adam began professionally in law, he leveraged his experience with corporate legal departments into a successful software and services sales career. Adam has held roles in sales, marketing and business development at companies like American Lawyer Media, Harbinger Corporation, Air2Web and Inovis.
Since 2004, Adam has consulted and implemented sales improvement programs for over 70 clients - mostly of them either Business to Business technology or consulting firms and mostly in the Atlanta metro area.
Adam received his Juris Doctor (Cum Laude) from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he served on the Law Review. He also has a degree in History and a minor in Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin.
